Face Contouring!!!!!!!!!!!

What is Contouring?

Contouring is the act of using dark or light colors to make features recede or become prominent, respectively. Contouring adds definition, structure, and dimension. Contouring can be used on the face, décolleté (neck and shoulder area), abdomen, or any part of the body that needs definition.

WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE WITH CONTOURING?

  • Thin down a rounded face,
  • Soften a square face
  • Define your cheek bones
  • Narrow a large or wide shape nose
  • Define your jawline
  • Create fuller lips
  • Lift saggy eyes
  • Minimize a large forehead or receding hair line
  • Make your eyes look bigger
  •

What products do you need to sculpt your face?
    1. Your true foundation color that matches your skin exactly
    2. Your contour color that should be 2 shades darker than your foundation and with the same undertone
    3. Your highlighting color that should be 1 to 2 shades lighter than your foundation and with the same undertone
Shapes of faces and how to Contour & Highlight each shape!

      Oval Face

You do not need to contour as your face shape is already symmetrical
You can experiment as oval faces can support most make up trends
Just remember that light shades appear more prominent and darker shades decrease the size of the area

                                               Diamond Face

Contour at the cheeks to minimize width.
Highlight your forehead, under your eyes and your chin to draw attention to the center of your face.

    Heart Face

Contour at the temples and cheeks to diminish the width of your upper face.
Highlight your forehead, under your eyes and your chin to draw attention to the center of your face.

    Oblong Face

Contour across the lower section of your chin to shorten your face length
Apply Blush to the apples of your cheek to widen your face.

    Rectangle Face

Contour on the corners of either side of your forehead and across the hairline.
Contour on either side of your jaw blending up to the bottom of your ear.
Highlight your forehead, under your eyes and your chin to draw attention to the center of your face.

                                                                        Square Face

Contour on the corners of either side of your forehead
Contour on either side of your jaw blending up to the bottom of your ear
Highlight your forehead, under your eyes and your chin to draw attention to the center of your face
    .

                                                                        Round Face

Contour to your temples, cheeks and jawline to create the illusion of an oval.
Highlight your forehead, under your eyes and your chin to draw attention to the center of your face.

                                                                    Triangle Face

Contour on the jawline and cheeks to minimize the width.
Highlight your forehead, under your eyes and your chin to draw attention to the center of your face.

    Nail Polish of the Week!!!

    Hi my loves!!!!
I bought the new nail polishes of the new collection from Revlon.  Let me tell you that I'm in love with the colors.  My first color combination that i tried is called Moon Candy, it has black nail polish on one side and the other side has these sparkly shattered glass looking glitter.  These glittery sparkles once is on and light hits them they change from green to teal and sometimes a blue.  I love it!  First you have to put on a base coat as always to protect your nails, then two coats of the black nail polish which has an arrow that say number 1 step and then a top of the number 2 step which is the shattered glass looking sparkles.  It really looks like i got shattered glass on my nail as you can see on the picture.  I'm def going back to get a few more colors since i got plain colors and only this black one with the sparkles.  I hope you girls liked it and get to try it :)
